Dancing the Line – Movement & Control in Rope

This is a workshop for those who want to move in rope – and be moved.

We explore how intention becomes motion and how rope can speak not just through form, but through flow. Together, we play with stability and surrender, with stillness and speed, with space and tension. We investigate floorwork, body mechanics, pressure points, and body locks, learning to lead and follow through the rope. The floor becomes a dance partner, rope a rhythm, bodies a conversation.

Prerequisites: Rigger should be able to tie at least a single and double column tie safely and independently. Both rigger and model should have good body awareness and a love for movement. At least 3 ropes are required.
