Comfy suspensions – for models AND riggers
Would you like to do suspension but you don’t feel comfortable in them? As a model, maybe you find them too painful or physically demanding? As a rigger do you have difficulty lifting your partner up, either because you are smaller or just simply not strong enough? Would you like to learn how to make your suspension journey less challenging?
In this workshop you can learn how to tie a comfy hands in front chest harness and more importantly, how to adjust it to suit your model’s unique body.
We will focus on rope handling tricks, both for applying the ropes to the body, as well as how we manage our suspension lines. This will help us to not only reduce the effort required to do so but also, help us apply good tensions and placement where it can be hard to reach.
With models we will talk about different methods of pain management and how to help themselves in terms of spreading load in suspensions to maximize sustainability.
Prerequisites: single column tie, basic rope handling and tension management, secure up-lines
