Underground Shibari Beginner Workshop✨

Workshop Content: The workshop is intended for beginners or people that want to refresh the basics. We will start with technical practice (hard skills) and implement tricks to help you set the mood and build a session (soft skills). We will learn a starter knot, some one- or two-rope harnesses, how to move bodies in a smooth and easy way and how to connect these dots.

Depending on the group we might be able to cover more content.

Switching will be possible.

When & where: 24th of May 2026, 1-6 pm at Kulturkeller Hirscheneck, Lindenberg 23, 4058 Basel (the space will be open from 12.30 pm)

Cost per pair: 50 CHF (supported I), 70 CHF (supported II), 100 CHF (standard), 130 CHF (supporter I), 150 CHF (supporter II) (if you can’t afford the workshop please contact us via dm and we’ll find a solution).

Your spot in this workshop is secured once you paid the fee (twint or bank transfer).

Registration: Register as a pair via the group chat linked below. There is space for 8 pairs. If you don’t have a partner, you can look for one in the „Mix and match“-channel in the group chat.

What to bring:

• 2 to 6 ropes (8 m long jute or cotton) *If you want to buy ropes from us please contact us early on*
• clothes you are comfortable to tie in/get tied
• a blanket to tie on for additional comfort (there are also mats on the floor)

Additional information: There will be snacks & at least two breaks.

The workshop will be in English or German depending on the participants.
